This is a panorama photo of ten stitched together photos. We were an hour before sunset to get into position and set up the camera correctly to take these photos. The camera was in portrait mode (vertical) and the tripod had to be completely level as well as the camera so no distortion could occur. several deer kept walking by not even afraid of us. This is an iconic photo in Arches National Park.Taken at sunrise, but waited until the rocks were completely lit by the sun.
Lower Antelope Canyon
I have made numerous trips to Page Arizona to take photographs inside the Lower and Upper Antelope Canyons. Different colors appear at different times of day and at different times of season. You should use a tripod and remote for you camera due to the low shutter speeds in side the slot canyons.
Temple of The Sun
Temple of The Sun in Capitol Reef National Park. A long drive in the dark on a rough and sandy road to get there early before sunrise. I then had to walk in the dark to find a good composition. Meanwhile, my wife informs me that she has lost the keys to the truck and she wanted to get inside the tuck to get warm. I then back tracked following her footsteps and luckily the silver tap on the key chain was hit by the sun showing me the location of the keys. I then raced back to my camera and took the shot. I use Planit Pro to help me get the information as tho when and where to take the photographs. It is an indispensable tool for photographers.
