A very cold morning at Oxbow Bend at minus 4 degrees and six feet of snow. The river was frozen over and we observed several animal tracks across the frozen river. My hands were so cold that I had to borrow another set of gloves from Mike to get my hands warm. Needless to say the camera battery quickly expired due to the extreme cold. I always bring extra batteries.

Winter Sunrise at Mt. Moran

I was able to capture the sunrise with the moon in the background. A few more minutes and the moon was behind the mountain. We waited quite a while so that we would photograph the moon close to Mt. Moran.
